LIFT
barrier-free vehicle
The project looks at autonomous transport and its future use, arguing that it should bring benefits to society.
If I don't have to drive such a car, shouldn't the car offer opportunities for people who are unable to drive by themselves, for any reason? While most car companies present flashy concepts, few of them target these groups of people (people with disabilities, seniors etc..). Perhaps these groups would be the pioneers of autonomous transport and over time more and more people would look at autonomous transport more positively than is currently the trend.
